Tax and Customs Committee was established in 2009 at the Business Association of Georgia. The Committee protects the interests of BAG’s member companies in terms of taxation and customs. Therefore, it maintains extensive cooperation with the Ministry of Finance and actively participates in the current reforms. One of the main goals of the Committee is to provide accurate information to the Ministry of Finance on tax and customs related obstacles that hinder development of business.

Members of the Committee convene on a monthly basis and discuss customs and tax issues and keep working on legislative initiatives to be presented to the Ministry of Finance, that positively affect Georgia's business environment.
