Finance Committee was established in April, 2010 within the Business Association of Georgia. Currently, the Committee is engaged in three key areas: development of private pension system, capital market development, and support of leasing activities.

According to the Committee, in order to develop private pension framework, it is essential to introduce the system of individual contributions and encourage them. In case of proper implementation of this reform, the country shall gain solid and long-term investment resources.

For the development of leasing activities, a working group has been set up within the Finance Committee. The group is comprised of the leading leasing companies operating in the market, leasing specialists, tax experts and lawyers. Main objective of the group is to identify concerns existing in the field, their analysis and initiation of legislative initiatives.
