BAG Energy Committee held the enlarged meeting

On September 26, Energy Committee of Business Association of Georgia hosted the top officials of GNERC, ESCO and Georgian State Electrosystem along with the representatives of the member companies of BAG and invited guests.

The sitting focused on the amendments to the Law of Georgia on Electricity and Natural Gas. The changes to the Law were made on June 30, 2017.

Irina Milorava, Chairman of GNERC, Vakhtang Amboakadze, General Director of ESCO and Mikheil Tavberidze, Head of Operational Planning and Contract Registration Service of Georgian State Electrosystem spoke about Tariffs of Electricity generation, transmission and distribution, market model and future plans, procedures, and regulations related to direct purchase of electricity.
