THE COMMITTEE FOR TAX AND CUSTUMS OF BAG HELD A REGULAR MEETING

On December 19, the Committee for Tax and Customs of BAG held a meeting. Zurab Lalazashvili, the Managing Partner of BDO and the head of the Committee for Tax and Customs, headed the meeting.

Number of issues having practical importance for the Association's member companies were discussed at the session, such as tax deduction, reimbursement of excess payments, taxation of the special trading company, status of the organizer of the market, exemption of exports from taxes, preliminary declaration on mixed cargoes, parallel import and more.

Business representatives were given the opportunity to express their opinions about the above mentioned issues.

It was decided that Business Association of Georgia will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and the Revenue Service for the final settlement of the issues.
