A regular meeting of the working group on the Draft Law on the Spatial Arrangement and Construction Code of Georgia was held at the office of Business Association of Georgia on February 22, 2018.

The head of the working group, Ms Nino Kvinikadze (Nodia, Urumashvili & Partners, LTD) made a brief presentation for the members of the Group and the representatives of the Association member companies on the key issues of the draft of the Construction Code. 

On the basis of this discussion, the Business Association of Georgia will submit its comments and proposals to the executive and legislative authorities.

This draft, initiated by the Government of Georgia, establishes the system of spatial arrangement and urban planning of Georgia, the hierarchy and composition of these plans, and the rules for their elaboration and approval.
