Meeting with Geostat

On November 29, a meeting organized by Business Asssociation of Georgia, was held between GeoStat and the members of the association. The meeting was also attended by business ombudsman of Georgia, Mr. Irakli Lekvinadze.

Executive Director of GeoStat gave a presentation for the attendants about main directions of the development of statistics systems in the country; also about the changes in GeoStat and their future plans.

After the presentation, the meeting continued with questions and answers session. The sides discussed the process of the official statistic management process, what are the needs of business and the importance of the collaboration of business and Geostat.

Similar meetings will strengthen private-public dialogue and highlight the needs of business industry.
