THE COMMITTEE MEETING FOR TAX AND CUSTOMS

On February 20, the Committee for Tax and Customs of BAG held a meeting. Zurab Lalazashvili, the Managing Partner of BDO and the head of the Committee for Tax and Customs, headed the meeting.

Besides Association member companies’ representatives, the meeting was attended by the heads of SARAS Department of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Mr. Anzor Mjavanadze and Mr. Davit Mchedlidze.
They gave a presentation about Corporate Reporting and Audit reform, the main goals and challenges of this reform. The importance of the reform in accordance with capital market was highlighted in the presentation.

At the end of the meeting, there was a questions/answers session between the attendants and the SARAS representatives.
