Representatives of the BAG member companies met with the head of the Department of Labor Inspection

Beka Peradze, the Head of the Labor Inspection Department, discussed the resumption of business activities and related regulations at the meeting with the representatives of the member companies of the Business Association of Georgia

During the meeting, the representatives of the companies heard information from the head of the department about the recent measures taken by the Labor Inspection Department to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace, as well as the inspection process and related issues.

It should be mentioned that the meeting aroused great interest in the business, therefore, about 130 representatives of the companies participated in the online meeting.

"In terms of  the pandemic and economic problems, constructive cooperation between the business and administrative body  is very important for us, as job security and employee health are the main concerns of businesses, this communication should also accelerate the removal of restrictions on business activities and ensure stable operation of companies in the future, said Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia”.
