Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy and the Director of Enterprise Georgia

The Business Association of Georgia (BAG), the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, and the Agency "Enterprise in Georgia" discussed the strategy of attracting foreign direct investment and updated programs in a post-COVID period.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Irakli Nadareishvili and Director of the Agency Mikheil Khidureli.

During the meeting, Mikheil Khidureli briefed the members of the Business Association on the updated programs, as well as on the production of electrical parts, remote delivery of business processes and other components, such as medical pharmacy and research centers.

"At today's meeting, the directions where the state can support and help businesses were identified. The sectors attracting foreign investment were more clearly defined, and this meeting was dedicated to how to jointly attract foreign companies and attract investments, which is important for both local business companies and the country's economic progress, ”said Soso Pkhakadze, President of the Association.
