Business Association of Georgia Held Labor Safety Training for Member Company Representatives in Cooperation with Danish Partners

The Business Association of Georgia, together with Danish partners and the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation, conducted a two-day training aimed at sharing best European practices in the field of labor safety with representatives of the private sector.

It is worth noting that the training consisted of theoretical and practical components and covered such important issues as organizing a labor safety system within a company, integrating employees into system implementation, and establishing, enforcing, and monitoring a systematic risk assessment model in the workplace.

The training was conducted within the framework of a joint project between the Business Association of Georgia and Dansk Industry, which aims to develop the labor market for the purposes of EU convergence.

"We are pleased that in cooperation with our European partners, the Business Association of Georgia and the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation conducted a labor safety training, which is a highly relevant and important topic for the state, the business sector, and the people employed within it. We believe that such partnership relations will further strengthen the private sector and contribute to protecting the safety of employees in the relevant sector. We plan to actively continue working with our European partners, and we hope this cooperation will be mutually beneficial and productive," stated Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia.

In cooperation with Dansk Industry, the Business Association of Georgia plans to implement several more events throughout the year for the development of the labor market.
