Levan Vepkhvadze

Levan Vepkhvadze  was appointed as an Executive Director of BAG on May 29, 2019. From 2017 he has been appointed as the Chairman of the Energy committee of BAG. Levan Vepkhvadze has many years' experience of working on the managerial position, both in a private and public sectors.

Prior to this appointment, Levan was  a general director for Georgian International Energy Corporation (GIEC). in 2016 – 2017 he served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Georgian Industrial Group (GIG) and as the Advisor to the General Director of GIG.

From 2008 to 2012, Levan Vepkhvadze was a member of the Parliament of Georgia and Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.

At various times he was the Executive Director of the Center for Democratic Innovations and the Euro Atlantic Association of Georgia. He worked on the “ First Channel” of Public Broadcaster, TV Company “Mze” and TV Company “Imedi” as a producer of news and public programs. Levan was the Deputy Director of Public-Political Programs Directorate at TV company "Imedi".

Levan Vepkhvadze is a mathematician by profession and received education at Tbilisi State University (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics). He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in the UK where he successfully completed the master program majoring in the global energy management and finances.

Akaki Saghirashvili

First Deputy Executive Director

Akaki Saghirashvili joined the Executive Team of the Business Association of Georgia in March 2022 as the First Deputy Executive Director.

Akaki Saghirashvili has gained multidisciplinary work experience in both the public and private sectors. Until now, Akaki was the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia and headed the Judicial Representation and Contract Review, National Bureau of Enforcement, Economic and Digital Governance.

Prior to joining the Ministry of Justice, Akaki Saghirashvili was the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia in 2018-2021, during which time he supervised the Department of Transport and Communications. With his direct involvement, the directives and regulations of the Association Agreement with the European Union were implemented: in the field of sea, aviation, land and rail. Akaki has been actively involved in all regional initiatives for the development of the transport corridor. In addition, Akaki Saghirashvili has made a significant contribution to the implementation of the universal Internet project "Log in Georgia".

Akaki also worked for the Georgian Railways for many years, where he held the position of Director of the Corporate Governance Department, working on tenders and information security. His experience in developing vocational education and improving the labor market in the railway sector is particularly noteworthy.

In 2009-2011, Akaki Saghirashvili lectured in Georgian Civil Law at Caucasus University.

He holds a Master's degree from the University of Friedrich Wilhelm, Bonn. In 1997-2002 he studied law at Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Mariana Morgoshia

Deputy Executive Director

Mariana Morgoshia joined the Business Association of Georgia in June 2021. She has many years of working experience in the multidisciplinary, public and private sectors. These experiences include healthcare management, project management, banking and agriculture.

Mariana is also the Executive Director of the Georgian Manufacturers Association. In 2014-2020 she was the director of the Agricultural Projects Management Agency, the director of agency "Enterprise in Georgia" and the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Mariana Morgoshia has worked on various international and local projects as a project manager as well as a trainer and lecturer.

Mariana Morgoshia is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Business Professional Master's Program in Project Management, as well as the Caucasus School of Business and the London School of Management, Department of International Development, she has a Bachelor's Degree in foreign languages ​​and translation from the Georgian Technical University.

Nick Nanuashvili

Legal Director

Nick Nanuashvili is Legal Director of BAG from 2010 year. In different years Nick worked with the National Bank of Georgia, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia, the Office of the Kvemo Kartli Governor, UNHCR Project. He graduated the Tbilisi State University, Law Faculty. At BAG Nick is involved in legislation analysis and initiating process.

Shota Komladze

Tax and Customs Manager

Shota Komladze is Tax And Customs Manager  from 2015 year. Earlier, from spring of 2011, he worked as an expert of the same direction in BAG. From 2006 2011 years he worked on various responsible positions in the tax authorities of Tbilisi and Rustavi. From 2000 2005 years he worked in the Governor's Office of Kvemo Kartli Region.  Shota Komladze graduated The Tbilisi State University. He has attended various trainings about the Tax Code, legal argumentation, project management and other issues.
In BAG Shota is actively involved in the process of initiating changes in the Tax Code and is responsible for the communication of ideas with the Ministry of Finance and Revenue Service.

Nutsa Shavladze

Director of Comunications

Nutsa Shavladze was appointed as Director of Communications of the Business Association of Georgia on October 23, 2019. At various times, Nutsa Shavladze worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Parliament of Georgia, CALLAN, the NGO sector and the international organization “European Christian Political Youth”. She has been the Vice-President of the latter for 4 years. 

She graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, majoring in International Relations. Currently, she is a PhD student of Mass Communication Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences in Tbilisi State University.

In 2012, at the invitation of the US State Department, she visited the United States to participate in the election campaign of US President Barack Obama. She was also involved in an active political campaign for the mayor of London, within the framework of which she worked on the implementation of Boris Johnson's planned election campaign.

Additionally, she attended various training courses in communications, project management, risk management, managerial skills and other directions.

Iza Lomidze

Chief Accountant

Iza Lomidze has been working in BAG from its foundation. She is chief accountant. In different years she worked at JSC "Gldani" PR centre; Union of Taxpayers of Georgia; Georgian Businessmen Federation. She holds certificate in accounting professional; is a true member of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors.
Iza Lomidze graduated the Tbilisi State University faculty of Economics; attended annual courses of the continuing studies of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors; and training course on public relations in public and private institutions.

Teona Zakradze

Administrative Manager

Teona Zakradze was appointed as an executive Assistant of BAG in May 2016. She graduated from Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, the Faculty of Western European Languages and Literature (Department of English Philology). Since 2015 she has been studying at Caucasus University obtaining Master's Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations program. At various times Teona worked at the English Newspaper “The FINANCIAL” and at “FINCA Bank Georgia.”

სოფო ჩიტრეკაშვილი ბიზნეს ასოციაციის გუნდს 2022 წლის მარტიდან შემოუერთდა კვლევის მენეჯერის პოზიციაზე. მას კერძო და საჯარო სექტორში მუშაობის მრავალწლიანი გამოცდილება აქვს.

სოფო პარალელურად დასაქმებულია საქართველოს მწარმოებელთა ასოციაციაში.  2016-2018 წლებში ის გახლდათ სსიპ „აწარმოე საქართველოში“ მომსახურების ცენტრის ხელმძღვანელი, ხოლო 2019-2020 წლებში - შსს მომსახურების სააგენტოს რუსთავის ცენტრალური ფილიალის სარეგისტრაციო სამმართველოს უფროსის მოადგილე. სხვადასხვა დროს სხვადასხვა პოზიციებზე  მუშაობდა სს „ბანკ რესპუბლიკაში“ და სს „პროგრეს ბანკში“.

სოფო ჩიტრეკაშვილს დამთავრებული აქვს საქართველოს სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის ბიზნეს ადმინისტრირების ფაკულტეტი საერთაშორისო ბიზნესისა და საგარეო ვაჭრობის სპეციალობით, ხოლო შემდგომ ბიზნეს ადმინისტრირების სამაგისტრო პროგრამა.

დამატებით გავლილი აქვს სხვადასხვა ტრენინგ-კურსები ბიზნეს მენეჯმენტის, პროექტების მართვის, მომხმარებელთა მომსახურების და ეფექტური კომუნიკაციების მიმართულებით.
