Business Association of Georgia Approves the Initiative of the Ministry of Finance Regarding VAT Return

Business Association of Georgia evaluates the introduction of an automatic system of reimbursement of value added tax (VAT) as an extremely positive step for business and fully supports the reform.

According to the Business Association, the VAT return was a matter that was one of the key problems for business over the years, due to time-delayed process and, in some cases, bureaucratic mechanisms; After the reform, it will not be a problem anymore, since VAT surplus will be automatically returned to the business and these funds will be used for further development of business, which will have positive affect not only for specific economic agents but also for the economy of the country and each citizen.

Business Association of Georgia confirms its close cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of Georgia regarding business-related key issues, which gives hope for future improvement of business environment through a number of initiatives and reforms.
