Dispute Resolution Center’s presentation on topic - Advantages of the Arbitration

On June 22, Business Association of Georgia and Dispute Resolution Center organized a presentation on topic - Advantages of the Arbitration. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Microfinance organizations of Georgia.

The opening speech was delivered by Lasha Nodia, the Head of Legislative Framework Development Committee of BAG who presented the detailed information about the activities of the Dispute Review Center. The General Director of the Center, Maka Natchkebia talked about the advantages of the arbitration.

Dispute Resolution Center is an arbitration institution that is currently contemplating modern standards, its recordkeeping provides mechanisms of quick review, and the small financial disputes aside for urgent examination of the dispute procedure. 

Business Association of Georgia is actively working on developing alternative mechanisms of settlement of disputes in our country, including arbitration development. For this purpose, in 2015 the Association decided to become the principal partner of the Center for Dispute Resolution.
