World Bank Workshop

On April 26-27, 2017, within the framework of the program on Strengthening Auditing and Reporting in the Eastern Partnership (STAREP) and with the financial support of the World Bank, the Centre for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR) organized workshop on the topic „"Maintaining the relevance of financial statements for different-sized enterprises".  The workshop was held in Kiev, the Capital city of Ukraine. The main objective of the workshop was to discuss specific issues related to the difficulties in implementing the accounting eurodirective. The workshop was attended by the Tax and Customs Expert of BAG, Shota Komladze, as a member of the Board of Accounting, Reporting and Audit Surveillance Service. 

STAREP is a World Bank program launched on October 1, 2013 and it unites six countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The program aims at promoting establishment and development of effective institutional basis and transparent environment for corporate reporting in Eastern Partnership countries.
