According to the data of 2017, by economic sectors, the construction is in the leading position in terms of investments in the field.  The Committee on Construction and Infrastructure was created in Business Association of Georgia in 2018.  Its purpose is to identify various problematic issues in the construction field, their systematic analysis and further ways to solve these issues and to develop various legislative initiatives in cooperation between the state and the business.
