BAG Plans Launching an Assesment of Business Climate Index

BAG Index is a joint product of the Business Association of Georgia, PMC Research Center and IFO, the German Institute for Economic Research.

The BAG index includes an assessment of BAG member business management, business climate and employment barometer.

''The  Business Association of Georgia, along with companies operating in various sectors, also includes large holding groups, which in turn combine dozens of different types of large, medium or small companies.

With this in mind, the  Business Association of Georgia includes more than 400 companies, which is a large part of our country's business and, consequently, the economy. Given this factor, we believe that our new project, the BAG Business Climate Index, will become an important, valuable and effective tool for both business entities and the government in the process of identifying, evaluating and analyzing specific business decisions. The BAG index will be published quarterly and it will inform the public about the attitudes and business expectations in business circles at a particular point in time, ”said Soso Pkhakadze, President of the Business Association of Georgia .
