Levan Vepkhvadze

Levan Vepkhvadze  was appointed as an Executive Director of BAG on May 29, 2019. From 2017 he has been appointed as the Chairman of the Energy committee of BAG. Levan Vepkhvadze has many years' experience of working on the managerial position, both in a private and public sectors.

Prior to this appointment, Levan was  a general director for Georgian International Energy Corporation (GIEC). in 2016 – 2017 he served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Georgian Industrial Group (GIG) and as the Advisor to the General Director of GIG.

From 2008 to 2012, Levan Vepkhvadze was a member of the Parliament of Georgia and Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.

At various times he was the Executive Director of the Center for Democratic Innovations and the Euro Atlantic Association of Georgia. He worked on the “ First Channel” of Public Broadcaster, TV Company “Mze” and TV Company “Imedi” as a producer of news and public programs. Levan was the Deputy Director of Public-Political Programs Directorate at TV company "Imedi".

Levan Vepkhvadze is a mathematician by profession and received education at Tbilisi State University (Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics). He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in the UK where he successfully completed the master program majoring in the global energy management and finances.

Nana Tsertsvadze

Deputy CEO

Since June 2019, Nana Tsertsvadze has been Deputy CEO of the Business Association of Georgia. She joined the Business Association of Georgia in September 2011 as a project manager, and since 2013 she has been working in the sector development direction.

Before joining BAG, Nana worked as a project manager and consultant in Synergy Group from 2006, and before that, from 2003, Nana was working at Tegeta Motors as Financial Analyst. She holds a master's degree in Project Management form Georgian Technical University. She is a graduate of the International Business School in Strategic Management and Leadership of 2013-2014 years. Currently he is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Economics and Business at Tbilisi State University in the field of economic policy.

Under Nana's leadership and involvement, a number of important projects related to the priority sector and business environment of the country have been implemented at Business Association of Georgia. She is the author of various research and policy papers both with colleagues and individually.

Nana represents the Business Association of Georgia on various platforms of public-private dialogue both in government structures and in projects of international and donor organizations.

In January-June 2018, Nana received NonProfitCoach Global Leaders six-month program scholarship. In the fall of 2018, she was also involved in the US Department of Commerce's Internship Program in economic development.

Nick Nanuashvili

Legal Director

Nick Nanuashvili is Legal Director of BAG from 2010 year. In different years Nick worked with the National Bank of Georgia, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ministry of Refugees and Accommodation of Georgia, the Office of the Kvemo Kartli Governor, UNHCR Project. He graduated the Tbilisi State University, Law Faculty. At BAG Nick is involved in legislation analysis and initiating process.

Ana Baiadze

Lawyer

Ana Baiadze has joined the Executive Team of BAG in 2018 as a Lawyer Assistant. Since 2019, she holds the position of a lawyer.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tbilisi State University. She is currently a Bachelor of Economics and Business Faculty at Tbilisi State University, and at the same time, studies a master's degree in business law at Free University. 

Ana is a four-time winner of Math Olympiad across Georgia from 2013-2014. She is a finalist of the Business Marathon "20 = 200" and captain of the winning team of the game "What? Where? When?" held in Tbilisi. In 2015, she was among the selected winners of the “Girls' Scientific Innovation Contest”.

In 2015, she became a graduate of Oxford College. She has undergone various training courses including: in the direction of development of electoral systems, national defense and security, public speaking arts and culture of debate. She was a participant in the US Agency for International Development (USAID G4G) project - Debates on Economic Reforms. Within the project, she gained significant knowledge and experience on priority economic reforms, including in the areas of energy, food safety system, land registration, construction and road safety.

Nutsa Shavladze

Nutsa Shavladze was appointed as Director of Communications of the Business Association of Georgia on October 23, 2019. At various times, Nutsa Shavladze worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the Parliament of Georgia, CALLAN, the NGO sector and the international organization “European Christian Political Youth”. She has been the Vice-President of the latter for 4 years. 

She graduated from Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, majoring in International Relations. Currently, she is a PhD student of Mass Communication Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences in Tbilisi State University.

In 2012, at the invitation of the US State Department, she visited the United States to participate in the election campaign of US President Barack Obama. She was also involved in an active political campaign for the mayor of London, within the framework of which she worked on the implementation of Boris Johnson's planned election campaign.

Additionally, she attended various training courses in communications, project management, risk management, managerial skills and other directions.

Shota Komladze

Tax and Customs Manager

Shota Komladze is Tax And Customs Manager  from 2015 year. Earlier, from spring of 2011, he worked as an expert of the same direction in BAG. From 2006 2011 years he worked on various responsible positions in the tax authorities of Tbilisi and Rustavi. From 2000 2005 years he worked in the Governor's Office of Kvemo Kartli Region.  Shota Komladze graduated The Tbilisi State University. He has attended various trainings about the Tax Code, legal argumentation, project management and other issues.
In BAG Shota is actively involved in the process of initiating changes in the Tax Code and is responsible for the communication of ideas with the Ministry of Finance and Revenue Service.

Iza Lomidze

Chief Accountant

Iza Lomidze has been working in BAG from its foundation. She is chief accountant. In different years she worked at JSC "Gldani" PR centre; Union of Taxpayers of Georgia; Georgian Businessmen Federation. She holds certificate in accounting professional; is a true member of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors.
Iza Lomidze graduated the Tbilisi State University faculty of Economics; attended annual courses of the continuing studies of the Georgian Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors; and training course on public relations in public and private institutions.

Natia Bantsuri

Natia Bantsuri works as a research analyst at Business Association of Georgia since 2015. She has been an intern at National Bank of Georgia Department of Macroeconomics and Statistics as well as the Banking Supervision Department. Natia has graduated from faculty of Business and Economics at Tbilisi State University and she holds the Master’s degree in Economics from International School of
Economics at Tbilisi State University. She has attended short courses of behavioral economics, public relations and other training cources.

Teona Zakradze was appointed as an executive Assistant of BAG in May 2016. She graduated from Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University, the Faculty of Western European Languages and Literature (Department of English Philology). Since 2015 she has been studying at Caucasus University obtaining Master's Degree in Diplomacy and International Relations program. At various times Teona worked at the English Newspaper “The FINANCIAL” and at “FINCA Bank Georgia.”

Kakha Kebadze

Logistics Manager

Kakha Kebadze has been working in BAG since 2011 year. Kakha is responsible for logistics in association. His functions include maintenance and movement of marketing outlets, participation in the process of reconciliation, care of office equipment functionality. Also, Kakha participates in the event management of BAG. Kakha, like other members of the team, daily provides the proper function of BAG.
