Meeting was held with the participation of the Ministry of Finance and Business Representatives

A working meeting, jointly initiated by the Academy of the Ministry of Fიnance of Georgia and the Business Association of Georgia , was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Finance with the participation of business representatives. The Ministry of Finance was represented at the meeting by the head of the Tax and Customs Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance Mamuka Baratashvili, head of the Tax Policy Division Giorgi Maldzigashvili and head of the Disputes Settlement Department of the Revenue Services Davit Bughadze. At the meeting participants discussed interesting issues for businesses, specifically, issues related to the tax legislation area. As assessed by the Business Association, such meeting on the one hand contribute to the development of the vision for businesses and effective communication of information about outstanding issues, and on the other hand, it creates the possibility for businesses to receive information about the policies of the Ministry of Finance, ongoing and planned reforms, changes, which ultimately contribute to the development of a more predictable and reliable business environment. Business Association expressed its hope that such meetings will continue in the future.
