The Business Association of Georgia Congratulates "Sakcable" on Receiving an International Quality Certificate for Its Self-Supporting Cable

Products of "Sakcable" a leading company in Georgia’s cable industry, have gained another international recognition. EZÚ, an authoritative European electrotechnical product certification body, has awarded an international certificate of quality and standard compliance to the self-supporting (ABC) cable manufactured by "Sakcable."

ABC cable is used in main overhead transmission lines as well as service drops for residential and utility buildings. Unlike standard cables designed for overhead lines, the insulation material of this product contains an additive that makes the cable particularly resistant to ultraviolet rays and distinguishes it with improved thermal properties.

The ABC cable underwent a complex testing process at the laboratory of the Czech Electrotechnical Testing Institute, where its structural dimensions, marking compliance, material types, and colors were evaluated. Furthermore, the cable's electromechanical properties were studied in depth at the laboratory, including components such as conductor electrical resistance, carbon black content, wire resistance to high voltage, and others.

The tests confirmed once again that the ABC cable manufactured by "Sakcable" is in full compliance with European standards and reliably ensures uninterrupted electricity supply to populated areas via overhead transmission lines.
