20 Oct '25
Another training session within the joint project of the Business Association of Georgia and Danish Industry was held, where representatives of BAG member companies learned about legislative approximation under the EU Association Agreement and its impact on the private sector.
During the training, focus was placed on the governing bodies of the European Union and their interrelationships, as well as the legislative approximation carried out under the Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) signed between Georgia and the European Union.
Notably, participants gained more information about the existing coordination mechanisms for the EU–Georgia Association Agreement, while the discussion also touched upon the EU accession process and procedures.
'The joint project between the Business Association of Georgia and our Danish partners is actively underway, aiming to develop the labor market during the EU approximation process. As a result of the training, participants will be able to independently plan export procedures to the EU market, which is crucial for the business sector's readiness and awareness. We believe BAG's cooperation with our Danish partners will be beneficial for both the business sector and our country's economy,' stated Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia.
