Meeting was Held at the Business Association of Georgia Regarding the Asset-Based Finance System with International Finance Corporation (IFC)

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) presented a Supply Chain Finance policy document to members of the Business Association of Georgia. The document was prepared under the IFC Europe Asset-Based Finance Project.

During the meeting, supply chain finance mechanisms and existing challenges were discussed. Attention was focused on lead companies and the importance of supporting them to make it easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to access asset-based financial products, such as factoring and reverse factoring.

The meeting, attended by representatives of member companies of the Business Association of Georgia, was held in an interactive discussion format. Company representatives received detailed information on specific mechanisms crucial for improving access to finance necessary to conduct business operations.
