A Meeting was Held Between the Business Association of Georgia and the Association of Trade Networks and Service Sector of Kyrgyzstan

The Business Association of Georgia (BAG) hosted representatives of the Association of Trade Networks and Service Sector of Kyrgyzstan. The main objective of the meeting was to establish close ties between the organizations, introduce the specifics of each other's activities, and identify strategic goals. The parties discussed in detail the business environment of both countries and strategic directions to enhance bilateral economic relations.
A significant part of the meeting was dedicated to the experience of cooperation with state authorities, including existing practices in the tax direction. Along with positive experiences, the sides reviewed the key aspects and current administrative procedures that pose potential risks to business activities and discussed the best practices existing in Georgia in this regard.
With the aim of sharing business connections and experience, the parties also agreed on future cooperation and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, which is planned for the current year.
"Sharing the knowledge and practical experience that we have accumulated in terms of tax administration and business support with our partners is a priority for us. The dialogue with the representatives of the Association of Trade Networks and Service Sector of Kyrgyzstan gives us the opportunity to better analyze common challenges and find ways that will make operating in different jurisdictions easier and more transparent for our member companies," stated Levan Vepkhvadze, executive director of the Business Association of Georgia.
