The Steve Jobs American Academy, whose mission is to raise global technological leaders, has become a member of the Business Association of Georgia (BAG).
The academy addresses two fundamental global challenges driven by technological progress: the lag of formal education behind the demands of the future labor market, and the expected systemic risks resulting from the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence.
The Steve Jobs American Academy is part of an international educational ecosystem, and its programs are implemented in more than 100 countries. The programs are certified by Google and Microsoft, and recognized by the Harvard Graduate School of Education and the European Union Commission. Our involvement in the global technological ecosystem, including being an Apple shareholder, reflects the academy's long-term technological vision. In Georgia, the academy launched its operations in November 2023 and today is represented by 5 branches and up to 800 students.
Notably, the academy operates three scholarship funds that finance the education, startup projects, and social activities of its students ("Steve Jobsers"). The academy implements international mobility programs worldwide: summer schools have already been held in Prague and Germany at the T-Mobile training center, while expeditions to CERN, the UN, and NASA are planned for this year. Several large-scale projects are also scheduled for this year, including the development of AI-integrated business centers, which will focus on the technological transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises and increasing their readiness for international markets.
"The integration of the Steve Jobs American Academy into the Business Association of Georgia creates a significant foundation for closer cooperation between education and business. We are confident that this partnership will contribute to the development of innovative education, the preparation of tech-savvy professionals, and the long-term strengthening of the country's economy," stated Soso Pkhakadze, President of the Business Association of Georgia.
