The members of the Medical Sector of the Business Association of Georgia held a meeting with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health

During the meeting, discussions were held on the challenges and current reforms in the hospital and pharmaceutical sectors. The Minister of Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs, Mikheil Sarjveladze, and the Chief of Administration, Levan Jorjoliani, were also present.
The President of the Business Association of Georgia, Soso Pkhakadze, along with the founders and directors of member companies, extensively discussed issues related to hospital and pharmaceutical services, emphasizing the importance of sustainable operations and improvement in the delivery of healthcare services and pharmaceutical products.
The meeting also touched upon the financing of hospitals using the DRG methodology, reference pricing, import of new standards for pharmaceutical ingredients in Georgia, and other relevant topics.
According to the representatives of member companies, direct dialogue and communication on these issues are crucial for both the business sector and the general public, ensuring consistent, quality, and accessible healthcare services and pharmaceutical products delivery.
