24 Dec '25
Under the EU Association Agreement, a final training session regarding legislative approximation and its impact on the private sector was held for representatives of BAG (Business Association of Georgia) member companies, bringing the project close to its completion phase.
The training covered the following main modules: EU governing institutions and their interrelationships, the Association Agreement signed between Georgia and the EU, as well as legislative approximation carried out under the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA).
Participants received comprehensive information on the existing coordination mechanisms for the Association Agreement signed between Georgia and the European Union.
"The goal of this project is to support the development of the labor market and the institutional strengthening of the business sector. As a result of the training, participants were given the opportunity to independently plan export-related procedures for the EU market, which significantly increases awareness within the business sector. We extend our gratitude to our Danish partners for their cooperation and support, which brings significant benefits both to the private sector and to the country's economic development," stated Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia.
