The Business Association of Georgia hosted over 100 students from the Harvard Business School's OPM program, introducing them to the country's economic indicators and business development trends. The event aimed to highlight Georgia's investment opportunities and provide potential foreign investors with a broader perspective on the country's economic environment.
During the event, a presentation on the BAG Index was delivered, reflecting private sector economic sentiment and expectations. Guests were also presented with an economic review prepared by Galt & Taggart, which examined in detail the macroeconomic state, growth potential, and prospects across key economic sectors.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where Harvard students gained further insight into the local business climate, regulatory framework, and promising sectors.
“Georgia was visited by owners and presidents of more than 100 major companies from leading countries worldwide, which is significant for positioning Georgia as an open and prospective country for investors. We believe that such presentations have a positive impact on the country's reputation and economic development. We continue to safeguard the interests of the private sector and showcase the country's economic environment on the international stage,” stated Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia.
