Grand opening of the new office of Business Association of Georgia

On December 8, 2016,  the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili,  President of the Business Association of Georgia, George Chirakadze,  and  Lasha Papashvili, founder of company Redix and Vice President of the Association solemnly  opened the new office of Business Association of Georgia  which  is located at a new A Class Business Center “Tabidze 1”.

The evening reception was attended by the country’s Prime Minister, representatives of the Government, Chairmen of the Parliamentary committees and members, high-ranking officials of International Organizations and International Financial Organizations, the representatives of the member companies of  Business Association and partner organizations.

Prime Minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili congratulated Business Association members on opening modern business center equipped with European standards and expressed his hope that it will become a base for interesting ideas and bring more investment in the country and help to fast economic development.

"It is a great success to have in the heart of our city a business center equipped in line with the latest standards! Congratulations! This facility is truly comfortable, and I hope that many important decisions for our country will be made in this facility, consequently creating new workplaces and triggering new investment projects. What our country needs most today is standing together in consistently advancing toward important economic progress over the next few years. Today more than ever, I am not only optimistic but also convinced that great success lies ahead of us. Our team and I are of the opinion that important innovations are expected in the nearest future, brand new large-scale projects that will make a tremendous difference in the country and mark a genuine breakthrough in our economic development. This is reality. This is the potential behind the negotiations we are holding," Giorgi Kvirikashvili stated.

The Director for Caucasus, Moldova and Belarus of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Bruno Balvanera, addressed the audience who spoke about the long and successful cooperation between the Business Association’s member companies and EBRD and expressed the hope that a variety of many successful projects will be implemented through the strong collaboration with Businesses.
