The Meeting of Finance Committee of BAG

On February 14, Finance Committee's first meeting of 2017 was held in BAG’s office, which was attended by Nikoloz Gagua, Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia.

The session focused on discussing and summarizing interesting issues for businesses in terms of finances and developing communication scheme with the government on these issues.

Deputy Minister of Finance and the representatives of Business Association member companies, discussed such important topics, as Larization, legislative changes initiated by the Government, pension reform and capital market reform.

"I want to especially emphasize the two strategic directions - this is the reform of the capital market and - the pension reform, the government talked about in 2016 and, perhaps, the time has come for the Association to be actively involved in this work. We are ready and we think that these two reforms will be necessary to carry out and want to be involved and participate in this process ", - said Vakhtang Butskhrikidze, Chairman of the Financial Committee of the Business Association of Georgia.

Business Association of Georgia will give the opportunity to its members to hear the presentations on the pension reform and capital market development from the Ministry of Finance  in the coming months.
