The Business Association of Georgia (BAG) met with Peter Weibler, Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

Executive Director of the Association Mr. Levan Vepkhvadze introduced the Association's plans for 2020 and opinions on specific issues to the Director of USAID.

Business environment and challenges existing in this regard were discussed during the meeting. Discussion focused on regulations and legislative initiatives affecting the business and decisions made in this sector. Projects on which BAG and USAID plan for future cooperation were also discussed.

“Active communication and cooperation with our foreign partners is of great importance for the Business Association of Georgia. I am glad the cooperation with USAID is moving into an even more active phase and hope that today's meeting will be the prerequisite for starting new interesting projects" - said  Levan Vepkhvadze.
