The cyber security platform was discussed at the meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Justice in the Business Association of Georgia

The current national cyber security strategy, the regulatory framework, and the law on information security were the main topics of discussion at the meeting between the representatives of the Business Association of Georgia and the Digital Governance Agency. Deputy Minister of Justice Erekle Gvinianidze, along with the head of the Digital Governance Agency Davit Nadirashvili and other agency representatives, emphasized the significance of cyber security and the challenges it presents.

During the meeting, the Digital Governance Agency introduced a public-private partnership platform for cyber security to member companies of the Business Association of Georgia. This platform aims to reduce and promptly address cyber threats and challenges, with a focus on outlining the benefits for participants.

The meeting featured a question-and-answer session and discussions among representatives of member companies of the Business Association of Georgia on pertinent issues.

"Such meetings offer businesses timely information, thereby reducing the risks of cyber threats and serving as a valuable prevention tool. Communication platforms like these are crucial for both public and private sector representatives. It's important to note that cyber security concerns touch upon the protected information of numerous users, as well as the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure. Hence, the strong interest and desire for private sector involvement, which was once again emphasized unequivocally at today's meeting," stated Levan Vepkhvadze, the executive director of the Business Association of Georgia.
