The Business Association of Georgia, represented by President Soso Pkhakadze, and the Anti-Corruption Bureau, led by Rajden Kuprashvili, have formalized a memorandum of cooperation. This memorandum is aimed at reinforcing the anti-corruption framework from a business perspective and fostering a more conducive investment environment.

The primary objective of this agreement is to champion transparency and integrity within Georgia's private sector. It also seeks to evaluate corruption risks and strengthen management systems in the ongoing fight against corruption.

Importantly, the memorandum outlines a collaborative approach between the Business Association of Georgia and the Anti-Corruption Bureau, aligned with the national anti-corruption strategy. This includes efforts to raise awareness about corruption risks, share best practices, and explore future collaboration opportunities in this critical area.

"We are committed to supporting the Anti-Corruption Bureau in developing and implementing effective mechanisms for assessing and managing corruption risks, in line with Georgia's national anti-corruption strategy. Our focus is on enhancing awareness about corruption risks and sharing proven practices. This is a top priority for us as the Business Association of Georgia because improving the anti-corruption environment directly correlates with enhancing the investment climate," stated President Soso Pkhakadze.
