The Business Association of Georgia Hosted Professional Training for Mediators

The Business Association of Georgia hosted a training titled "Emotional Intelligence for Mediators in Individual Labor Dispute Mediation."

The training was held in cooperation with the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation and the Mediators Association of Georgia as part of a joint project between Danish Industry and BAG. It aimed to deepen mediators' practical skills necessary for labor dispute mediation and enrich their knowledge required to manage emotional and communication challenges typical of workplace conflicts.

In the next phase of the project implementation, as a pilot model, the social partners, together with the Mediators Association, plan to offer the services of selected and suitably trained mediators to employers and employees to resolve disputes arising from labor relations in the workplace.

The mediators involved in the project were selected from the registry of the LEPL Mediators Association of Georgia through a mutual agreement between the Business Association of Georgia and the Georgian Trade Unions Confederation.
