Skillwill Opens a New Vocational College Campus

The Business Association of Georgia (BAG) congratulates Skillwill on opening a new vocational college campus and reaching a new milestone in its strategic development.
The project, which includes the newly opened vocational college campus by Skillwill, is being implemented with an $18 million co-investment from global fintech giant Tether. Beyond financial backing, the partnership entails active content-driven engagement: leading experts from Tether will share global expertise with Georgian students through workshops, meetings, and various educational activities.
Currently, Skillwill College operates successfully in Tbilisi and Batumi, where 1,350 students began their studies on November 25. The learning process covers five primary fields, including software development and computer networks.
Skillwill's 2-year expansion plan includes, alongside existing campuses, opening new educational institutions in Kutaisi, Rustavi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Gori, Akhaltsikhe, Samtredia, and Lanchkhuti. In total, 12 Skillwill colleges will operate nationwide (including 10 new ones), providing training for 10,000 students annually. Education will be delivered across 9 regional hubs in both online and in-person formats. Every college will be equipped with high-speed internet and infrastructure among the best in Eastern Europe.
This collaboration and Skillwill's updated curriculum include 10 new vocational programs across 13 strategic and high-demand technology fields, such as AI Development, Blockchain Development, Data Engineering, and more.

To this end, Skillwill is actively working with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth to develop new professional standards," stated Giorgi Mariamidze, Founder and CEO of Skillwill.
