The Business Association of Georgia Congratulates Member Company BDO on Its Expansion and Formation into a Unified Regional Firm in the Caucasus and Central Asia

BDO officially launches its operations in the Caucasus and Central Asia under the unified regional firm BDO CCA, which unites five countries: Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

This new regional integration is based on BDO’s global network strategy and aims to elevate the quality of professional services, consolidate knowledge and resources, and foster economic development in the region. According to 2025 figures, BDO is present in 169 countries with 94,900 professionals and 870 offices worldwide.

BDO CCA is governed by an Executive Committee (ExCo). Zurab Lalazashvili has been appointed as Regional CEO, while Maia Khachidze became the Managing Partner of BDO Georgia. Vahagn Saakyan serves as Managing Partner of BDO Armenia, and Davron Yakubov leads BDO Uzbekistan as Managing Partner.

According to Trond-Morten Lindberg, BDO's Chief Strategy & Operations Officer, BDO CCA represents a significant milestone in the global integration strategy and will promote innovation and the delivery of high-quality services to regional and international clients.

Zura Lalazashvili stated that this will be a partnership under unified management—one firm across five countries. The main goal of this model is to pool knowledge, expertise, and human capital, enabling the company to offer a more diverse and complex service portfolio to regional and international clients, backed by the world's fifth-largest global network.
