Members of the Business Association of Georgia held a working meeting on matters related to the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (DCFTA) with the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. It was an informative meeting aimed at raising awareness among the business community about general aspects of the Agreement, as well as providing information to companies on issues of interest for them and other individual matters. At the meeting, Mariam Gabunia, representative of the Department of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development made a presentation for the participants. The presentation covered the following important issues: substance of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement, regulated areas, policy of tariffs and preferences, technical barriers, public procurement, intellectual property, competition, etc.
