The Supervisory Board members of the Business Association of Georgia held a meeting with the Vice-Prime Minister

On May 7 the Supervisory Board members of the Business Association of Georgia held a meeting with the Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili, which was also attended by the first deputy minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitri Kumsishvili, deputy minister Ketevan Bochorishvili and Business Ombudsman Giorgi Gakharia. During the meeting the participants discussed economic reforms of the Government of Georgia, current and prospective projects, including, in areas such as industry, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture and energy. Giorgi Kvirikashvili presented to business representatives projects to support entrepreneurship, which have to play an important role in developing the economy and incentivizing businesses. Moreover, they focused on Government Action Plans directed towards deepening trade, economic and investment relations with major trade partners of Georgia. Vice- Prime Minister also spoke about the development of the stock market and the retirement system reform. On its part, the Business Association of Georgia raised issues that are significant for the business environment and member companies of the Association. At the end of the meeting, Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili underlined that the dialogue with businesses will continue and these consultations will have a regular nature.
