13 Feb '13
In February, National Bureau of Enforcement and International experts held seminars within the frames of the EU-financed BESTT twinning project for members of the Business Association of Georgia on the new service of the bureau - "Statement of Facts to the attendees " and "simplified procedures". New services have been functioning since August 2012.
"Statement of Facts to the attendees", as one of the NBE services, has been applied by several European nations as a method to help courts obtain evidence. "Statement of Facts to the attendees"is an objective report of facts developed by the National Bureau of Enforcement. "Simplified procedures" service allows any interested person, in case of available written evidence, to apply to the bureau with the request to enforce the payment of an unpaid financial liability. "Simplified procedure" has been formerly applied in courts. In the NBE it has been introduced in a significantly modified form and provided very favorable results.
The seminars are targeted at providing publicity for new services and releasing information amongst the interested business circles with the purpose to provide its application in various directions.
