Prime Minister of Georgia met businessmen

Prime Minister of Georgia Ivane Merabishvili met Georgian businessmen. The meeting organized by Business Association of Georgia took place on July 17th  in Tbilisi Marriott. The meeting was attended by the representatives of large Georgian companies. The meeting had informational character and enabled businessmen learn the vision of Prime Minister on development of economy and improvement of business and investment climate.
As revealed at meeting, government plans to make effective steps in order to maintain and increase the growth rate of economy. With this purpose various infrastructural and energetic projects are being planned; investments will be made and supported in such fields, where businesses refrain from entering due to high risks or high capital expenditures.
As the Prime Minister stated, any step made towards this direction will be in advance discussed with the business circles, in order to ensure that their interests are considered and they do not encounter problems in their activities or in making investments.

Businessmen were given opportunity to discuss issues of their interests and present their views.
