Businessmen met Deputy Minister of Economy

On April 122012 at the event organized by Business Association of Georgia, businessmen met with Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Davit Giorgadze. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the situation and novelties in the field of privatization. Deputy Minister shared with businessmen information about the property that state plans to sell in the near future. As deputy minister stated, it is one of the high-priority objectives to make privatization process transparent and effective; hence, the information about the property on sale should be available to as large audience as possible. At the meeting a presentation of web-page, http://www.privatization.ge/ was held. The web-page contains information about properties on sale and results of the auctions. During the meeting businessmen had opportunity to raise and discuss related issues and initiatives; it was agreed at the meeting that BAG will continue to host meetings at different levels with Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development in the future.
