On May 17 Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Business Association of Georgia and the National Statistics Office of Georgia. The bilateral document was signed by the heads of agency and agreed on future cooperation.

In the framework of Memorandum of Understanding Business Association of Georgia will promote Geostat to disseminate statistical information in Business sector.

According to Meri Daushvili, such kind of meetings is very important, as it will facilitate interested parties to provide necessary statistical information in quality and timely manner. On the other hand, GeoStat will receive quality, timely and comprehensive information from the companies, which in general supports improvement of quality and credibility of statistical information.

During the event Meri Daushvili introduced the current novelty and presented future plans of Geostat to the representatives of BAG.
