The Tax and Customs Committee held a regular meeting

On 30th of September, the Committee for Tax and Customs of BAG held a meeting. Zurab Lalazashvili, the Managing Partner of BDO and the head of the Committee for Tax and Customs, headed the meeting. The meeting focused on the BAG-initiated project about amendments to the Tax Code, which is related to deduction of the money from gross income transferred from enterprise/entrepreneur to the state and/or local governance in order to help overcome the results of the disaster that occurred on June 13-14, 2015 in Tbilisi.
The members of the Committee positively assessed the above-mentioned incentive of BAG. It was noted the amendments will improve the condition of companies, which have transferred money from enterprise/entrepreneur to the state and/or local governance in order to help overcome the results of the disaster that occurred on June 13-14, 2015 in Tbilisi.
Also individual initiatives of BAG member companies were discussed on the meeting. The needs of the companies were considered appropriate to continue working on and the action plan was scheduled.
