Representatives of BAG’s executive team, headed by the CEO Irakli Aslanishvili visited Estonia on 15 – 18 June.
The aim of the visit was to study Estonian model of income tax reform, to get information about practical and theoretical aspects, risks and their insurance arrangements, and analyze them.
During the visit, meetings with Estonian Tax and Customs Department, the Ministry of Economy, the Estonian Chamber of Commerce, the Taxpayers Union and private companies, including Deloitte representatives of Tallinn office were held.
We remind you that BAG was one of the first who initiated the reform of income tax and wanted to adapt Estonian model. In the future BAG is planning to use the knowledge and experience to support Georgian Government for the purposes of the planned reform.
