Meeting with the Representatives of Finnish and Estonian Foreign Office

President of the Business Association Giorgi Chirakadze and CEO of the Association Giorgi Asatiani on March 22 met with the representative of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Ilkka Räisänen and representative of the Estonian Embassy in Georgia, Martin Karner.

The diplomats' visit aimed at getting familiar with the programs ongoing between Georgia and EU within the framework of European Neighbourhood Policy Instrument (ENPI) as well as reviewing the business climate and opportunities of supporting small and medium businesses.

The Association's President provided the visitors with the information about the Association's work and business environment and investment climate existing in Georgia.

The visitors believe that there is quite a good soil in Georgia to make investments and in this regard many areas still remain unacquired; the fact that this visit is the preparatory stage for the visit of Estonian-Finnish business delegation in Georgia has been underlined. Giorgi Chirakadze availed himself of an opportunity to promise the visitors his support and added that one of the key areas of the Association's activity is working with potential investors and supporting them, which means establishment of direct contacts between businessmen and providing the investors with the information on relevant areas.
