BAG Hosting the Consulting Firm Booz Allen Hamilton

The members of the BAG Supervisory Board and executive team met the representatives of Booz Allen Hamilton John Mennel, Jen Braswell and Kimberly Kotnik at the BAG office on May 17, 2010.

The meeting aimed at discussing the plans and prospects of future cooperation.

Booz Allen Hamilton is one of the leading companies in the area of strategic and technological development providing services to governmental institutions, profit and non-profit organizations, other institutions.

The firm is actively cooperating with the US Government in terms of technical assistance and with Government of Georgia, as well as various donor organizations.

Booz Allen Hamilton is involved in USAID new economic projects and actively working towards developing import-export, investment and country's competitiveness.

President of the Association, George Chirakadze provided the guests with the information about the BAG's activity and future plans covering active involvement of the association in various economic projects and reforms focusing on small and medium business development, including active cooperation with international donor organizations within the framework of particular projects.

According to Jen Braswell, Caucasus Regional Manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, the firm is intending to implement projects in different areas including agriculture, information technologies and tourism. In addition, possibility of works in the field of domestic production and export promotion, free industrial zone development, finances-banking are under consideration.

As evaluated by Jen Braswell, due to its activity and objectives the Business Association of Georgia has significant potential and they are interested to jointly work on relevant projects.
