The BAG Finance Committee Holding its Next Regular Session

Finance Committee's organizational meeting was held at the BAG office on April 28.

Chairman of the Committee Vakhtang Butskhrikidze presented the Committee's objectives and priorities (loan accessible for businesses, support of private pension scheme and leasing) at the session.

As announced by Mr. Butskhrikidze, the Association is intending to closely cooperate with the National Bank in the course of "Larization". In order to ensure businessmen's awareness and transparency of the process, joint seminars where the National Bank, as a reporter, will present macroeconomic analysis on the pros and cons of Larization are planned in May. Competent associations, member companies' leadership and financial managers will participate in this seminar.

As for the development of private pension scheme and support of leasing, participants of the meeting agreed that in the nearest future meetings with GoG representatives will be held to set joint, coordinated actions.

Furthermore, the Committee members agreed to set up a working group within the Committee to develop legislative initiatives in the area of leasing.
