Meeting with the representatives of Government of Georgia

On December 25, members of the Supervisory Board of BAG and chairmen of the Committees functioning therein met with Chief Advisers to the Prime Minister of Georgia Mr. Vakhtang Lezhava and Ms. Tamara Kovziridze.

Representatives of GoG provided the businessmen with the plans and priorities set by the GoG in 2010 for further development of country's economy. Different ways of cooperation with the government were discussed at the meeting, it was planned to organize proactive meetings with the government representatives.

At the same meeting it was decided to conduct workshop on "Introduction of food safety system and re-enactment of company registration from 2010". This event aims at informing the companies engaged in food and beverages sector about the novelties of introduction of food safety system in Georgia and re-enactment of company registration from 2010.
