Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Arab Republic of Egypt

On December 23, Vice President of BAG Mr. Soso Pkhakadze met Mr. Wahid El-Din Ismail Galal, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Arab Republic of Egypt. Potentials of bilateral cooperation in various fields of business between Georgia and Arab Republic of Egypt was discussed at the meeting.

As stated by Mr. Wahid El-Din Ismail Galal, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Arab Republic of Egypt, Egyptian company "Fresh" is intending to make investment in the amount of USD 1,2 billion in Georgia. According to him, so far USD 115 million has been invested in Georgia which will reach USD 450 million by the end of this year.

In addition he spoke about the perspective cooperation between Business Associations of Georgia and of Egypt.
