BAG is engaging itself in the work of Appeals Board of the Ministry of Finance

With the initiative of the President of Georgia Michael Saakashvili, representatives of BAG and of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) will be engaged in the Appeals Board functioning at the MoF. It is the first ever precedence in the country of close cooperation favourable for both parties, taxpayer and tax administration.

President of BAG, Mr. Giorgi Chirakadze appraised this decision as extremely advantageous for the country and added that as a result it will lead to unique opportunity of cooperation between business and government. Before, the Appeals Board was staffed only with public servants and from the beginning of 2010 business representatives will be also involved in the work of the Board.
