Business Association of Georgia and Jiangxi Province, People’s Republic of China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Today, on 22th of June, at “Hotels and Preference Hualing Tbilisi " Partnership Fund organized a trade and economic cooperation development seminar between Georgia and Province of Jiangxi, People’s Republic of China.
The Seminar was attended by Irakli Aslanishvili, Executive Director of Business Association of Georgia, Dimitry Kumsishvili, Vice-premier of Georgia and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, as well as members of the government, business sector and representatives of the 35 largest companies from Province of Jiangxi.
The seminar focused on investment potential of Jiangxi Province, its possible role in the development of Georgia’s economy and the prospects of economic cooperation between Georgia and Province of Jiangxi.
In the frames of the seminar, Business Association of Georgia and The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
"This is a very important stage of cooperation between Georgia and China. We have signed the memorandum of understanding, which provides for enhancement of cooperation between the business sectors of two countries. The Memorandum aims to serve as a catalyst for stakeholders to understand the investment potential of both countries and will contribute to the strengthening of existing relations, "- said Irakli Aslanishvili, Executive Director of Business Association of Georgia.
