MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION SIGNED BETWEEN THE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA AND THE MEDIATORS ASSOCIATION OF GEORGIA

Within the Mediation Week Activities dedicated to the Professional Day of the Mediator Memorandum of Understanding was signed between  the Business Association of Georgia and the Mediators Association of Georgia.

The main purpose of the Memorandum is collaboration between the parties with the aim to introduce and promote alternative dispute resolution mechanism in Georgia, for the timely and effective resolution of disputes. In addition, joint projects and initiatives are planned to promote the mediation mechanism among the member companies of the Association.

It should be noted that the development of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms has been one of the priority activities of the Business Association of Georgia for many years, and the promotion of the institution of mediation together with arbitration serves this task.

The Memorandum was signed by Levan Vepkhvadze, Executive Director of the Business Association of Georgia and Irakli Kandashvili, Chairperson of the Mediators  Association of  Georgia.
